If you’re a mom, you’re a busy mom there just isn’t any other kind. As quickly as the summer days run off the Holidays are at our heels and walking through our doors! You’ve finished your back to school thing…now for round 3!

While shopping for School supplies I already found myself noticing all the “Stuff” in the aisles for the Holiday splurge and thinking about what each of my kids will be putting on their lists. (They have very long lists!). And since I am a busy mom of three (2 amazing (busy) boys and a little princess) I like to try and get a head start so I won’t be pushing myself and a stroller through the parking lot slush on a windy, snowy day to get into a store for relief from the cold only to be bombarded by choices and frustrating lines.

The worst part of the Holiday shopping for me is “The Big Gift”. You know what I am referring to. The gift that will make your child light up with excitement and make you the hero (or Santa if he gets the credit). The biggest problem with the “Big Gift” is the pressure and thought that goes into it at this busy time of year. And there is so much “Stuff” in the stores and advertised on TV already that it makes our kids think they need it all! So what happens to me is that I get to the store, find myself staring at the stocked shelves and I can’t make a decision! I can’t make a decision because that little voice in my mind is asking questions like “Do they already have that, will they like this color, is this the one that was on the commercial, what if someone else gets this for them, what size should I get, maybe they would like that instead of this… UGH… It makes me crazy!
